Life’s a B E A C H!
Thursday, April 16th, 2009Winter seems as if it is finally releasing it’s frigid grip at last. Simple things like going out with a light coat, feeling the warmth of the sun un cooled by freezing winds and being able to see the first signs of life in the trees and the first blooms of spring. These are things that we look forward to and celebrate.
It comes every year, but lately, it’s been showing up later and later like an errant friend who always leaves you waiting because they are never on time. You would think that one would eventually adapt and learn to live with this tardiness, but each and every time, you feel the disappointment in having been kept waiting.
Is this global warming? I would think we would have shorter winters, but I suppose it shows its effects in its own ways.
Ahhhh, if one could live with spring and fall like temperatures year round… but that would be San Francisco!
